When I think of a coach… I get a vision in my head of a middle-aged man in a polyester running suit with a baseball cap and a whistle. Oh, and he’s always chewing gum for some reason. He’s fairly stoic and slightly overweight.
Maybe that’s why I never played sports.
But, more than the random image that comes to my head, when I think of a coach, I think of someone who’s passionate about their sport. Passionate about making the team unified and amazing at working together. I think of someone who sees potential in each member of the team. He sees what the high school kid just can’t see yet. He knows how to train and encourage so that every member gets a chance to be the best they can be… and maybe even exceed their own expectations.
That’s what Biblical life coaching is about. As a Biblical life coach I am passionate about helping women in ministry to see their own potential and encouraging them to do the work of getting there. A life coach can never do the job FOR the client, just as a sports coach can never do the training for his team. It doesn’t work that way. But a coach is always there, always watching, always available to tweak the plays until the effort turns into flawless playing.
Jesus has given us a high calling as women in ministry. Many of us are wives and mothers, as well as leaders in our places. My heart's desire is to walk alongside those of you on the front lines of Kingdom work as we seek the Holy Spirit together to continue this journey through ministry, striving to be all that God has created us to be.
I offer a no-cost, no-obligation inquiry call for you to explore how Biblical life coaching could be an effective tool for you in this season of your life and ministry. You can schedule a call right from my website, or contact me at any of my social media places (my favorite is Instagram!)
