For anyone unable to make today’s trunk show, here are a few important things I wanted to pass along! Noonday collection is a collection of handmade, fair-trade goods made by people in countries with extremely high rates of poverty.
1. You can shop using this link. Any orders placed by Thursday, February 28th, will give the Wilson family 35% of that purchase towards their adoption! If our party can bring in $250, they will get 38% of the sales towards their adoption this month. Please help us meet this goal!
2. Here is a little info about my friend’ s adoption, which this trunk show is supporting. Laura and her husband Paul have three little boys, two biological sons and one son who was adopted from China in 2016. When they saw firsthand the number of orphans in need, they decided they would complete their family with one more adoption. Over the last several years, their journey has changed and led them to now be adopting from India. They are about halfway through the paperwork, and working to raise over $30,000 for legal fees, agency fees and international paperwork necessary to provide a home for this child who will have special medical needs. If you want to learn more about their adoption, you can check out their blog The God Who Sees.
3. If you love the jewelry and/or mission of Noonday Collection and would like to host a trunk show, please contact Laura. A trunk show creates a marketplace for your friends and family to look at these beautiful pieces and support at risk families around the world as well as raising further funds for the Wilson’s adoption.
